  • Requested jury instructions must be delivered to the trial judge at the prescribed or court-ordered time, and no later than the first morning of trial.

Service

All 35
  • Deadline
    1 court days

A party seeking an ex parte order must notify all parties by 10:00 a.m. on the court day before the appearance unless exceptional circumstances justify shorter notice or waiver.

  • In an unlawful detainer proceeding, shorter ex parte notice is permitted if the notice given is reasonable.

  • A party requesting judicial notice must provide the material to the Court and each party.

Fees

All 16

    First day jury fees

For civil jury trials other than unlawful detainer actions, first-day jury fees are due 25 calendar days before trial, and a jury generally may not be drawn if the fees are not timely received.

    First day jury fees

In unlawful detainer actions, first-day jury fees are due 5 calendar days before trial, and a jury will not be drawn if the fees are not timely received.
