How Harris County court holidays affect deadlines
Harris County publishes official county holiday closures and court users also need the District Clerk, local rules, e-filing, and assigned-court notices. Deadline checks should treat the county holiday calendar as one input, then confirm the court-specific rule or order
Use the Harris County holiday page for county office closure dates
Check local district court e-filing rules before counting filing time
Confirm any assigned-court notice or emergency closure before relying on the county calendar alone
