Criminal cases
The request, certificate of service, and proposed order must be submitted together or the clerk will reject the filing with an explanation.
When filing a request to expunge or seal records, a requester shall file the request, a certificate of service by the circuit clerk, and a proposed order to expunge and or seal. If all documents are not submitted for filing at the same time, the clerk is directed to reject the filing with explanation as to why.
