Northern District of Florida

The Northern District of Florida holds court in Tallahassee, Gainesville, Panama City, and Pensacola, covering the Florida Panhandle and the state capital region. The district has four authorized judgeships and handles significant challenges to Florida state laws given Tallahassee's role as the seat of state government. Pensacola's large military presence at NAS Pensacola also generates defense and military-related litigation.
