Northern District of Georgia

The Northern District of Georgia, headquartered at the Richard B. Russell Federal Building in Atlanta with additional courtrooms in Gainesville, Newnan, and Rome, is the largest and busiest federal district in the Eleventh Circuit with 11 authorized judgeships. Atlanta's role as a major commercial, transportation, and corporate hub drives a high-volume docket of securities, antitrust, ERISA, and patent cases.
