Senior District Judge Marilyn L. Huff was appointed to the Southern District of California by President George H.W. Bush in 1991.
Judge Huff was born in 1951 in Ann Arbor, Michigan. She was nominated on March 12, 1991, confirmed by the Senate on May 9, 1991, and received her commission on May 14, 1991, filling the seat vacated by William B. Enright. She served as Chief Judge of the court from 1998 through 2005. She assumed senior status on September 30, 2016.
