Each case in Nueces County Courts at Law and District Courts must have a discovery control plan and scheduling order, except Attorney General Title IV-D cases.

Each electronic transmission must include a cover sheet identifying the sender, case, document type, total pages including the cover sheet, and special instructions.

A Case Information Sheet must be filed within 10 days after the filing of an original petition.

Pleadings and documents may be filed electronically with the appropriate District or County Court Clerk and treated as originals.

Returns of service and bonds must be filed in original paper form with the Clerk and may not be filed electronically.
Filing Timing
All 2Electronically transmitted pleadings and documents are file-stamped on the next business day, with the actual receipt time shown.
An application must be filed with the District Clerk during business hours.

Court costs and filing fees for electronic filings are due upon receipt, may be paid by cash, credit card, check, or money order, or credited against advance court costs, and filing fees must be paid or accessed against a credit card within 7 days of filing.
