Western District of Kentucky

The Western District of Kentucky, headquartered in Louisville with court also held in Bowling Green, Owensboro, and Paducah, serves western Kentucky including the Louisville metropolitan area. The district has four authorized judgeships and a diverse caseload that includes automobile-manufacturing labor disputes from the Louisville Ford and General Electric plants, civil rights matters, and significant drug-trafficking prosecutions. Louisville's role as a major UPS logistics hub also generates aviation and shipping litigation.
