Senior Judge Dale S. Fischer was appointed to the Central District of California by President George W. Bush in 2003.
Fischer was born in 1951 in Orange, New Jersey. She received her undergraduate degree from the University of South Florida and her law degree from Harvard Law School. She practiced as a business litigator at Heller Ehrman and Kindel & Anderson for 17 years before joining the bench, first as a Los Angeles Municipal Court judge handling criminal cases, then on the Los Angeles County Superior Court.
