Brenda T. Rhoades is a United States Bankruptcy Judge for the Eastern District of Texas. She was appointed to the court on April 21, 2003, and served as Chief Judge from 2008 to 2015. Prior to her appointment, she was a partner with the law firm of Baker & Botts L.L.P. Judge Rhoades received her Bachelor of Arts from Texas A&M University and her Juris Doctor from Arizona State University College of Law.
