Judge's copies must be marked "Judge's Copy" with the NEF affixed as the first page and mailed to the judge within three business days.

A judge may direct parties to proceed in a case in any manner the judge deems appropriate. Unless otherwise directed, if a judge's copy is required, it MUST be in the form required by LR 10.1/LCrR 49.3, or as stated below; must be marked "Judge's Copy" with a copy of the Notice of Electronic Filing (NEF) affixed as the first page; and must be mailed to the judge at the address indicated below within three business days.

Judge O'Connor requires judge's copies of dispositive motions, responses, replies, and appendices exceeding 75 pages, placed in a 3-ring binder with tabbed exhibits.

Each dispositive motion, response, reply, and appendix thereto exceeding seventy-five (75) pages, placed in a 3-ring binder, with any exhibits or attachments tabbed.

Judge Lindsay requires judge's copies in criminal cases when a main document has more than 3 attachments/exhibits or when the main document or attachment exceeds 25 pages.

In criminal cases, if a main document has more than 3 attachments/exhibits or if the main document or attachment is more than 25 pages.

Judge Kinkeade requires judge's copies in civil cases for dispositive motions, responses, replies, appendices, and filings over 25 pages; no copies required in MDL or criminal cases.

MDL Cases: No copies required; All Other Civil Cases: Dispositive motions, responses, replies, and appendices thereto AND filings more than 25 pages; Criminal Cases: No copies required

Judge Means requires judge's copies of all filings with NEF affixed to first page; filings of 50 pages or fewer must be stapled in the upper left corner.

Courtesy copies are not required unless specifically requested by the Court.

The Court does not require courtesy copies of documents, unless specifically requested in other orders or specifically requested by the Court. Should the Court require copies, the Court’s copies are to be delivered to the Clerk’s office at 1100 Commerce Street, Room 1452, Dallas, TX 75242.
