All 5The Brazoria County District Clerk and County Clerk are authorized to seal medical, psychiatric, psychological, mental-health, and competency records upon filing and before issuance of a formal sealing order.

In cases involving the Texas Department of Family and Protective Services, each party may access documents subject to the sealing procedures before a formal sealing order issues.
Filing Timing
All 2Except during a District Clerk Office emergency, an application for immediate or temporary relief must be filed and assigned to a court before it may be presented to a judge.
When the District Clerk's Office is closed because of an emergency, a case requiring immediate judicial action must be docketed and assigned at the earliest practicable time, and all writs and process must be returnable to that court.
