Except during a District Clerk Office emergency, an application for immediate or temporary relief must be filed and assigned to a court before it may be presented to a judge.

2.1 Except when the District Clerk's Office is not open for business due to an emergency, no application for immediate or temporary relief shall be presented to a Judge until it has been filed and assigned to a Court as provided in these Rules.

When the District Clerk's Office is closed because of an emergency, a case requiring immediate judicial action must be docketed and assigned at the earliest practicable time, and all writs and process must be returnable to that court.

2.2 Whenever immediate action of a Judge is required when the District Clerk's Office is not open for business due to an emergency, the case shall, nevertheless, at the earliest practicable time be docketed and assigned to a Court as provided by these rules, and all writs and process shall be returnable to that Court.

The property-division documents must be filed no later than 5 days before trial.

6. In cases involving property division, the parties shall file a current (up to date) Inventory and Appraisement and a Proposed Property Division no later than 5 days prior to trial.
