Case law must not be electronically filed together with pleadings.
Do not e-file case law with any pleadings.
Electronic filing is required for attorneys, and the Court does not receive a hard copy of an electronically filed document.
With E-filing now required, attorneys should be aware that the Court no longer receives a “hard copy” of a filed document.

Copies of case law must never be electronically filed; an attorney seeking judicial review should deliver the case copies to the Court’s Coordinator.

All filings must be submitted electronically through the e-file system directly to the Tarrant County District Clerk.

Discovery documents and related materials must not be filed with the clerk unless the court enters a special order.
(b) The following discovery documents and related materials SHALL be served upon all other lead counsel or parties in accordance with the Texas Rules of Civil Procedure and the Texas Civil Practice and Remedies Code, but SHALL NOT BE FILED with the clerk except on Special Order.

The listed discovery material must not be filed with the clerk unless a special order permits filing.
(1) Serve upon all other lead counsel or parties, discovery material listed in Rule 1.07 (b) as required therein; but the same shall NOT be filed with the Clerk except on Special Order.

The jury charges must be emailed in MS Word format.

The Settlement Agreement, signed Final Judgment, unwaived List of Expenses, payment breakdown, and Minor Information Sheet must be emailed to the court.

The listed pretrial documents must be filed electronically, including exhibit and witness lists, motions in limine, proposed jury charges or findings, and a letter to the judge.
