Deadline

48 hours

Ex parte materials not picked up within 48 hours are deemed abandoned and destroyed unless another timeframe is arranged with the court administrator.

The appellant has 30 days to raise any issues they deem appropriate in the appeal.

The remote-appearance request must be mailed or emailed to the Court Administrator at least five court days before the hearing or trial, unless good cause is shown.

When filing an Anders Brief, an attorney must provide the appellant a copy with instructions that the appellant has 30 days to raise any issues.

Attorneys must file proof that the Anders Brief and 30-day response instructions were provided to the appellant; service may be made by any manner reasonably likely to provide notice.

Parties opting into an informal trial must provide a physical copy of the selection to the other party and the court, and file the original with the Clerk’s office.

Before noting a motion, attorneys and parties are advised to confirm the docket date and time by consulting the calendar, County Clerk, or court administrator.
