New Arrest Notification Form must be emailed to BKNA to set court calendar.
To set the matter on the Court’s calendar, complete and e‐mail the New Arrest Notification Form to the BKNA e‐mail address as noted on the form. The e‐mail distribution list will notify the affected agencies (i.e., federal defender, pretrial services, probation, U.S. Marshals, etc.)

Arresting agencies must communicate with USMS Bakersfield for anticipated arrests.
The arresting agency shall also communicate with the USMS (Bakersfield) with respect to anticipated arrests/initial appearances.

CVB payments must be mailed, online, or by phone.
You must: 1) mail your payments to the CVB, 2) make payment on the CVB website at www.cvb.uscourts.gov with credit or debit, or 3) make payment by telephone at 1‐800‐827‐2982.

Additional condition requests may be made at first appearance after release.
If the need for additional conditions arises after release, the request may be made at the time of the defendant’s first appearance before a judicial officer.

US may request additional conditions via phone call to Magistrate Judge.
The United States may make a telephonic request to the nearest United States Magistrate Judge if it seeks additional conditions as a prerequisite to release.
