Requests for audio recordings of hearings must be submitted electronically via the Court Reporting Services page of the 11th Judicial Circuit website.
All requests for copies of audio recordings of judicial proceedings by attorneys of record, parties to a case, and self-represented litigants shall be submitted electronically by following the instructions online under Court Reporting Services of the 11th Judicial Circuit website (jud11.flcourts.org).

Hearings must be scheduled through CourtMAP, with both attorneys agreeing on the date and time before scheduling when both parties are represented, choosing between the IN PERSON and ZOOM calendars.

Filing Timing and Cure Windows
Exhibit lists and exhibits must be filed and provided at least 7 days before the hearing or the exhibits may be excluded from admission.
If you fail to provide a copy of the exhibit list with exhibits and fail to file a copy of the exhibit list with exhibits seven (7) days prior to the hearing, you may not be able to get the exhibits admitted at the hearing.

Filing Fees and Waivers
A final invoice for the audio recording must be paid before the recording will be released.
Upon full review of the request and in accordance with Rule 2.420, a final invoice shall be sent to the requester, which must be paid prior to release of the audio recording.

Adjournment & Extension Requirements
Continuance requests must be heard by the General Magistrate, a notice of cancellation alone will not cancel a hearing, and settled or withdrawn referrals must be reported to the General Magistrate's office.
Any request for a continuance of a hearing before a General Magistrate must be heard by the General Magistrate. A notice of cancelation of hearing is insufficient and will not cancel a hearing. If a case or referral is settled or withdrawn, please contact the General Magistrate’s office.

Zoom hearing requests must be submitted by email to the General Magistrate's office explaining the reason (or by phone to the judicial assistant), and the office will confirm or deny the request.
If you reserve the hearing date and time via courtMAP on the appropriate calendar (marked as ZOOM hearings) you must send an email to 11thfcgm11@jud11.flcourts.org explaining the reason why you are requesting a ZOOM hearing, or you can call the General Magistrates Assistant Imari Sandoval. You shall receive a confirmation or denial from the General Magistrate’s office.

Exhibit admissibility disputes must be raised by calling the General Magistrate's office to arrange a Zoom or telephonic hearing before the scheduled hearing.
If there is a dispute as to the admissibility of the proposed exhibits, contact General Magistrate Flora M. Jackson’s office at 305-349-5689 to arrange a Zoom or telephonic hearing prior to the scheduled hearing to resolve the exhibit dispute.
