Motion Calendar hearings are limited to five minutes per case.

No more than two motions per case may be placed on a Motion Calendar hearing through courtMAP.

Attach the filed motions and all supporting documents when scheduling the hearing.

After scheduling a Motion Calendar hearing, prepare, file, and serve a Notice of Hearing.

A Motion Calendar hearing will be cancelled if the motions are not uploaded to its courtMAP hearing event.

Consolidate supporting materials into one bookmarked PDF rather than uploading many individual files.

Submit materials for Wednesday’s calendar by close of business on the preceding Thursday, and materials for Thursday’s calendar by close of business on the preceding Friday.

For materials submitted after the Motion Calendar deadlines in rare circumstances, immediately email Court staff and use the specified subject line.

A party may unilaterally set a Motion Calendar hearing only after reasonable coordination attempts have failed.

The noticing party may cancel a Motion Calendar hearing through courtMAP after filing a Notice of Cancellation that states the reason.

Motions for rehearing, reconsideration, new trial, and other post-trial motions on entitlement to fees and costs are not heard on Motion Calendar and must be submitted with a proposed order through Proposed Orders in courtMAP.

To avoid appearing at Calendar Call after settlement, email chambers the filed Notice of Settlement or Notice of Voluntary Dismissal before Calendar Call.

Submit contested-motion orders to Proposed Orders and agreed or unopposed orders to Agreed Orders in courtMAP.

Do not submit an order more than once; it remains pending until entered or rejected.

For a time-sensitive order or one pending more than a week, call chambers to check its status.
