The court will not hear untimely motions in limine or motions lacking a complete EDCR 2.47(b) affidavit detailing the conference, resolution attempts, and what was or was not resolved.

Telephone conferences are limited to trial scheduling and procedural matters, require both parties, and counsel usually initiates the call.
Judge Lilly-Spells may use a telephone conference to discuss trial scheduling and procedural matters related to the trial (i.e. use of audiovisual equipment; remote witnesses, ADA accommodations). Both parties must be present for a telephone conference and Judge Lilly-Spells will not address any substantive or evidentiary matters.
