The Judicial Assistant will not schedule a motion until an email identifies a date and time accepted by all parties or their attorneys, after which she will provide a confirmation number.
Judge Brown’s Judicial Assistant does not actually schedule your motion until you email her as to which date and time is acceptable to all parties or their attorneys. She will then give you a confirmation number. We do not hold dates, so act quickly to confirm the date you have agreed on.

Emergency-hearing requests must be emailed to the Judicial Assistant with a copy of the motion and copies to all interested parties, after which the judge determines whether a hearing is required.

CourtCall is permitted only for hearings scheduled for 15 minutes or less and must be scheduled at least seven business days in advance.

If a litigant becomes abusive during a telephone call, the Judicial Assistant will terminate the call and future communication with that litigant must be by e-mail.
