courtMAP submissions for special sets must be PDF files named to identify the party and contents with a '-BOOKMARKED' suffix, OCR-searchable, with bookmarked argument headings, exhibit divider pages with large bold centered exhibit numbers/letters, and properly titled bookmarks for exhibits and supporting documents.

i. The PDF submissions must be appropriately and consistently named in a way to identify the party submitting it and what the file contains. For example, "Plaintiff's Motion for Summary Judgment-BOOKMARKED.pdf" and "Defendant's Response to Motion for Summary Judgment – BOOKMARKED.pdf." To enable the Court to confirm compliance with these requirements and approve a hearing request without having first to download the PDF and open it, add "-BOOKMARKED" to the end of the title (e.g. "P's Motion to Dismiss Supporting Documents - BOOKMARKED.pdf"). ii. "OCR" the PDF files. That is, make the text within the PDF files searchable. iii. For the motion, use PDF software to bookmark the argument headings / sections so the Court can quickly reference them during a hearing. iv. For the exhibits, insert a page before each exhibit with the large, bold, centered number or letter of the exhibit. The font size should be the largest possible font that will allow the exhibit number/letter to fit on a single page. v. Use PDF software to bookmark each page containing the exhibit number or letter. The bookmarks must be properly titled (e.g., Ex. A – Affidavit of John Smith) and in the appropriate order. vi. Use PDF software to bookmark any other supporting document and properly title the bookmark, such as legal authority.
